Shipping Policy
We ship from Bangkok, Thailand. All orders are carefully packed and despatched within the timeframes below.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Thai public holidays). Orders placed before 12:00 noon Bangkok time are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon or on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.
2. Retail Orders
Domestic shipping — Thailand We ship to all provinces across Thailand via tracked courier service.
- Bangkok and Greater Bangkok: 1 to 2 business days
- All other provinces: 2 to 4 business days
International shipping We ship internationally to most countries via Thailand Post EMS. Delivery timeframes vary by destination:
- Southeast Asia: 3 to 7 business days
- East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand: 5 to 10 business days
- Europe: 7 to 14 business days
- Rest of the world: 10 to 21 business days
These are estimates only and may be affected by customs clearance, public holidays, and factors beyond our control.
Shipping costs and free shipping Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Free shipping is available on orders over the following thresholds:
- Thailand: 1,000 THB
- Asia Pacific: 2,000 THB
- Europe: 3,000 THB
- Middle East & Africa: 3,250 THB
- Americas: 3,500 THB
Countries we don’t ship to For regulatory and logistical reasons, we are unable to ship to certain destinations. If your country is not available at checkout, unfortunately we cannot process your order.
3. Wholesale Orders
Wholesale orders are sold ex-works (EXW) from our warehouse in Bangkok, Thailand. Goods are available for collection or onward shipment once your order is ready.
Shipping arrangements Wholesale customers are responsible for arranging their own freight and carrier. ako & sila will prepare your order for collection and provide all necessary documentation, including a commercial invoice and packing list, to support customs clearance in your country.
Minimum order The minimum wholesale order is 30 pieces.
Lead times Please allow 2 to 3 business days for order preparation before collection or handover to your nominated carrier.
4. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
Retail orders International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping costs. Customers in the United States, Brazil, and India are particularly likely to incur additional charges on delivery. We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before placing an order. We are unable to falsify customs declarations or mark orders as gifts to avoid duties.
Wholesale orders As goods are sold EXW, all import duties, taxes, and customs fees in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. ako & sila bears no liability for any charges incurred after the goods leave our warehouse.
5. Tracking
All retail orders are sent with tracking. Once your order is despatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to monitor delivery progress. If you do not receive this within two business days of placing your order, check your spam folder or contact us at e-commerce@akoandsila.com.
6. Delivery Issues
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, contact us at e-commerce@akoandsila.com. We will investigate with the courier and do our best to resolve the matter promptly. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses provided at checkout, customs holds, or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Packaging
Every ako & sila order is packed with care. Products are presented in our branded packaging, designed to protect your piece in transit and to make the moment of opening part of the experience.
