Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to be satisfied with every ako & sila piece. If something is not right, we will do our best to make it right. This policy sets out your options and our process.
1. Returns Window
You may return any item within 14 days of the date of delivery, provided the conditions below are met. After 14 days, we are unable to accept returns unless the item is faulty or not as described.
2. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unworn and in original condition, with no signs of use or damage
- All original packaging, tags, and documentation included
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Items that have been worn, personalised, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, contact us at e-commerce@akoandsila.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and reason for return. We will respond within two business days with instructions. Do not send items back without first contacting us, as we cannot guarantee they will be processed.
4. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for a different size, colour, or item of equal or lesser value. If the replacement item is of greater value, the difference will be charged. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Contact e-commerce@akoandsila.com to arrange.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you by email. If the return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please note that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a product fault.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, contact us at e-commerce@akoandsila.com within 14 days of delivery with a description and photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
7. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
8. In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in any of our physical stores are subject to the returns policy displayed in store. Please retain your receipt. In-store and online policies may differ.
